Roddy's Info Dump Warehouse!
Well, for whatever reason, I can't get myself interested in the internet much beyond hanging out here. Soooo, I'll start doing my info dumps here off emails sent in to the station throughout the day, and if it gets a discussion going, so be it. If not, who cares right? Just ignore my ramblings if you wish. So I may as well. I mean, I do listen 14hrs a day. Langdon to Levin baby, and often up through Beck. ...come to think of it, I LOVE listening to Phil Hendrie, when DO I sleep (a question Conry frequently asked), during the ....crap what's it called... mayor, new york, Bloomberg! There we go...
Let me kick off by saying, Hail Roddy McDowall! No, not me, the actual Man. Yes, he's no longer with us, but if the spirit lives on he has more chance of catching my respect now than he did when he was alive. Shakma and Class of 1984 were two of the best movies ever! *L/S* That would only be sarcasm if I hadn't watched them so many times, or been a collector of his works "down" to the batman audiobook...
...So, where to start. Hey, I've been accused of rambling plenty, don't read on if you don't like my writing style or duration. Fair warning, here we go... You're about to see a small small percentage of how much I email in throughout the day, from my cell phone. Not cheap, but I'm a dork so... *L*
(...Oh, 7/24, may as well just start with today, during LP talk of banning bottled water in some 'city hall' or some such nonsense 'except in case of an emergency'...)
"I love that phrase. Like you're going to have a bottled fire to put out."
(or in relation to horror movies that stay with you and make you flinch about things to this day,)
"Another movie I've seen that nobody else has but everyone should, "the horror show". Lance Henrickson, Brion James, one of my absolute faaaavorite movies, "shocker" tried to rip it off. They set up typical horror show moments then change them slightly to freak out even horror veterans, grrreat idea. And I'm not good with being alone in basements because of it. Well, nightmare on elm st didn't help with basement shudders either, but primarily "the horror show". And they got me on car rear-view mirrors too, "I'm still here!" )
Go rent it immediately!
Try this, in relation to caller Rita today totally missing the point of Baker's attempt to talk about racial disparity on marriage stats. She wanted to complain about her personal experience for, oh, fifteen minutes or so? *L*
"Yeah, still got Reta-rd on the brain, but it makes me wonder. Don't folks realize the silliness of her point? Her assesment of mens' reaction to modern women requires men to have Not evolved along side them, as we have. Claiming that women "grew" but men didn't is childish, and proof that those who stand behind that point haven't grown at all. Just like race relations, gender issues will only be in balance when BOTH SIDES quit whining and/or claiming superiority or an exclusive enlightenment.
We'll only treat eachother maturely when we Are mature, Not when we're angry or bitter over personal experiences that have shaped a negative stereotype."
Well, I just realized I've sent over a Thousand emails in to studio, and I'm suddenly in an appology fest with Kearin after getting lines crossed, so I'll shut up and roll from here...

Re: Roddy's Info Dump Warehouse!
I didn't know they carried the Phil Hendrie Show. I haven't listened to him for a few years now but I first listened to him before he was syndicated back around 1992 on the Atlanta AM station then to my suprise he came to WCCO in 1993 until early '94. I have caught a few of his shows over the years scanning the dial like KOA Denver years ago. I should check out his websites.

Re: Roddy's Info Dump Warehouse!
May be a tough one, I've tried emailing his show's email account to ask about merch and got zero replies. But, a quality cat regardless, and a fun show to catch even though there's no interraction with the actual public! You're proof though: they should do the OBVIOUS and actually list their show schedule somewhere on the website. If I knew Jeffers had a show, I'd have been listening! If I knew Ben Ferguson had a show, I'd have been Listening! Why don't they tell us what they air? Foolishness. Just another excuse for them to hire people who actually Listen to their station if you ask me. *ahem* (well, I keed.)

Re: Roddy's Info Dump Warehouse!
*during LP, race of valley fair beatdown bros victim released*
We can all act somber for knowing damn well that the guilty were black if you like, but like I pointed out, I was careful to spit at the hate crime aspect because we Didn't know that they (victims) were white.
And you know for absolute certain that if you want a hate crime in place, it's strictly going to be a white on black crime.
Don't like it?
Dude, welcome to disagreeing with liberals.
*during LP, after morning Rush address*
Pray I'm wrong, Daywalker! But listen carefully for anyone to call today saying that we now know why nobody helped. Racism. Even "the morning Rush" points out that liberal legislation and reasoning depends on the presumption of racism. When they find out that calling people who aren't racist racist doesn't stop them from being right (on striking hate crime laws or enforcing immigration laws) they don't have any tricks left in the bag to stop us. Like a vampire immune from daylight, if you're both correct and Not racist, how can they stop you? Only those who use race as a tool are racist, it's insulting to Everyone!
*during CB, Obamunist won't visit wounded troops*
So when Oprama, who's grey not black by the way (ed: compound joke, he was talking about alien greys all morning, read my email about jesus being orange on air, so color swap talk far beyond his white half denial), speaks in English to Germans about hope change and global socialism, he's Not a candidate, just a citizen of the world. But when it comes time to see the troops, wounded servants of freedom, THEN he's on the campaign trail and officially states that his campaign doesn't feel that showing them he cares is good for his f**king image?! can someone pleeease tell this retard he's DONE?
(Note: Rush opened his show with the same point, felt good actually. *L*)
*during CB, do/would aliens existing debunk religion?*
I love this, we talked about a parallel topic on the talkspot. Consider: god is all powerful and creating, yet we declare that he could not create any life outside earth because we say so. God is all knowing, but only we are smart enough to contemplate evolution. God is all doing, but only bizrock obamer can do everything.
Dogs can hear things we can't. This is proof enough that things still exist outside our spectrum of perception. Why wouldn't this be true? Spheres, aliens, who knows, I just mean our senses are limited, but existance and reality are not limited By our senses.
*to elrushbo, on Oprama's transition team*
Transition team is a hypothetical! I thought lordbama didn't work in hypotheticals. Must only be when he knows he's wrong, like the only time hillary is a federalist. Love to Punkin,

A "Dump" thread, huh?
I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before USMCPathetic shows up and starts posting pictures of animals taking a sh-t.

Re: Roddy's Info Dump Warehouse!
To Baker on who can respond to Russia...
"Only Obamunism can respond." If Bush or McCain were to act, we're getting involved in someone else's business. But if Obama steps in, we're helping to prevent genocide. See how that works? If we were in Darfur, it'd be an entangling alliance while the same critics wailed that we weren't responding to genocide in Iraq. It's a simple flowchart, and though I can't confirm it always worked that way, it seems to now...
To Lewis subbing for Limbaugh on triangulation...
"two teams, one endzone" If a football team was playing an away game where the cheers are louder for the home team, would they charge towards the wrong endzone to try and get the big applause? Thankfully, not all republicans are getting the answer to this wrong, but we can only withstand a rino charge for so long... (oh, and then I called him America's real quarterback, but I hate sports analogies so whatever...*L*)
